BEACH TREES WITH GOUACHE

Beach Trees gouache 4x6"

I'm still plugging away with the gouache painting. This one is from a photo I took last month at the beach. I struggled with the foreground but loved painting the trees. I'm still having trouble judging the change in value when the paint dries.

Oh but that rich value makes it so deep and wonderful - Love the color combo used here - and just enough white.
