A RARE SUNNY DAY

This was the first day in a while that I've seen the sun come up, as we've had lots of snow for the last couple of weeks.  Smoke from the neighbors wood fire added some interesting effects.  I did these from the studio, quite quickly, and not keeping up with the change, but I captured  some of the color.

I love the way the colours are blended together on this painting. Must be strange being without the sun. We went to Alaska once and were there on midsummers day. It was very disorientating when it didnt go dark!

Thank you Sethu. I'm glad to know you are still looking here.

And thank you, Polly. The long days of summer and short days of winter certainly take some getting use to.
